Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
  • Knowledge of security industry regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communications, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced ability to coordinate responses to security breaches and threats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Availability to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft office products and be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce policy and procedures to ensure city, site, and company compliance.
  • Brief the Account Manager and Client of all concerns made known by any security personnel that require their attention.
  • Update the Account Manager, Branch Manager, and/or Client of updates needed to the security procedures for all site posts.
  • Communicates and coordinates the security procedures to the Shift Supervisors and/or all security personnel.
  • Manages and provides support for the Shift Supervisors for site training for all security personnel.
  • Provide the security staff with educational material and training to ensure all security personnel are aware of their responsibilities, and to prepare them for their development and growth.
  • Works with the site Shift Supervisors and Trainer to coordinate monthly training for all security personnel.
  • Manages and provides support for the Shift Supervisors for site training for all security personnel.
  • Assists Shift Supervisors with evaluation of security personnel utilizing the job descriptions and post orders.
  • Provides feedback (KPI) quarterly to the Security Department’s overall performance (response to codes; Supervisor’s performance reviews: Dispatcher’s performance reviews).
  • Manages any disciplinary actions pertaining to violations of policies and procedures to ascertain if this infraction is training related or behavioral in conjunction with Human Resources and the Account Manager.
  • Any disciplinary actions involving a final warning, suspension or removal will be outlined by the Shift Supervisor on duty but administered by the Account Manager, Branch Manager and Human Resources.
  • Retains positive interactions with but not limited to officers, clients, customers, contractors, managers, and city officials.
  • Provides guidance to the Shift Supervisors through emergency situations/ day-to-day activities and making sure all guidelines listed in the post orders and emergency procedure books are followed.
  • Assists the Account Manager and client Security Operations Manager when needed to investigate incidents, property damage claims, and all security issues on property.
  • These duties may include: Reviewing additional video footage with the Surveillance Analyst Checking incident reports system Interviewing witnesses and complainants involved in incidents Training officers to gather information for incident reports Ensure all investigations are concluded and all questions are answered for the client.
  • Ensure all reports are saved as outlined by the client
  • Generate analytical reports for the entire site and provide these reports to the Account Manager, Branch Manager, and Client on Friday mornings.
