About The Position

Propelis has an immediate opening for a Press Operator position in St Louis, MO! Hours: 1st shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm Pay: $25 - $27 USD / hour Position Summary The First Press Operator operates and maintains a two-piece, dry off-set printing press and produces high quality printed cans. This position also recognizes and communicates print anomalies to the front end to facilitate a can that will be able to run commercially in accordance with the timing and needs of company clients. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years experience operating printing press
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Strong technical print knowledge.
Exceptional color vision.
Basic computer literacy.
Ability to work safely in press areas.
Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team.
Ability to follow direction and work individually or as part of a team.
Self-driven and able to work with minimal oversight.
Ability to conceptualize and problem solve.
Ability to multitask.
Attention to detail.
Comply with all company standards, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
