About The Position

Consolidated Investment Group, is seeking a qualified First Officer candidate for the Challenger 605 aircraft based in Denver, CO (Centennial KAPA). This is an established and respected FAA part 91 corporate flight department supporting domestic & international operations. Responsible to the Chief Pilot for the performance of all assigned duties involved in the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments. Responsible to the assigned Captain of scheduled trips for all duties assigned by the Captain for that trip.

Requirements

  • Strong prioritizing and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple & high level priorities
  • Proactive decision making skills
  • Must maintain a valid First Class Medical certificate
  • Will be required to obtain a unrestricted Pilot in Command FAA Type rating in the Challenger 605/650 airframe.

  • Compliance with company flight department grooming standards
  • Total flight time: 2,500 hours
  • Commercial Pilots License (ATP strongly preferred)
  • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
  • Pilot in Command: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 150 hours
  • Jet: 250 hours
  • Turbine Engine: 100 hours
  • U.S. Passport & ability to serve as crew internationally without restrictions
  • FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Permit
  • Pre-employment background check
  • Pre-employment FAA drug screening
  • No accidents, incidents or violations within the last 10 years.
  • Ability to upgrade to Captain
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with Bombardier Challenger series type rating or similar aircraft size experience or graduates of military flight training.
  • Airline experience with international experience is also preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform First Officer duties in accordance with the Company GOM, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, etc., and other instructions pertinent to their duties.
  • Responsible for assuring that the company’s goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
  • Responsible for the post-flight of the aircraft interior, to include, but not limited to, removal of all debris from the cockpit area, removal of ice, coffee, and catering from the aircraft and reporting any interior equipment discrepancies to the Captain.
  • Arrange and obtain cabin items including catering required for a flight.
  • Provide the highest level of passenger service at all times.
  • Coordinate all work schedules & associated tasks with the Chief Pilot.
  • Maintain and provide the Chief Pilot with a copy of his/her First Class Medical every six months.
