About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for First Line Quality Product & Services Manager (Level K) to join our Tube Duct Reservoir Center (TDRC) Quality Team based in Algona, WA. The Fabrication Quality team is looking for a self-motivated First Line Quality Leader with a proven track record of driving change, inspiring others, and challenging the status quo in changing environments with shifting priorities. Strong transformational leadership skills are essential for fostering team engagement and guiding quality team members who demonstrate resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements within an established and regulated production and quality management system. The selected candidate will be a dependable and skilled professional adept at working effectively across diverse groups in a fast-paced, complex environment. They will excel in collaborating across organizational boundaries and implementing innovative solutions in response to changing circumstances.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of experience in leadership or management role
  • 5 + years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
  • 5 + years of experience working within procedures aimed at showing/finding compliance to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
  • Experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
  • Experience with CMES Common Manufacturing Execution System
  • Experience with government agency compliance
  • Airplane Program experience

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
