About The Position

The Boeing Company ESRC Fabrication (BCA) is looking for a Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to support the ESRC Quality team onsite in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will be driving improvements within the ESRC to ensure teams are prepared for and continuously improving with the goal of zero injuries, zero defects, and zero Foreign Object Debris (FOD). The selected candidates will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do, develop our teams, as well as integrate across organizations. You will lead and mentor a team of inspectors performing a variety of quality functions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality or production engineering
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience with team building, developing, and motivating employees
  • 5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • 5+ years of experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner
  • 5+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
  • 5+ years of experience with business acumen and systems thinking
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills to effectively work to and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manages hourly employees
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Responsible for working overtime during weekdays and weekends as required
  • Up to 10% travel may be required for this position
