First Line Product and Services Quality Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a First Line Product & Services Quality Manager to join our Interiors Responsibility Center Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 4th shift. Position Responsibilities: Manages, develops and motivates employees across multiple Quality Management Job Families Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations Successfully implements solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions Provides education and coaching on the Quality System Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
  • 5+ years leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 5+ years in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • Ability to work on the production floor supporting on-product conformance determinations
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. AS9100)
  • Experience working execution to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments
  • 10 + years in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
  • 10+ years working with cross-functional leadership doing collaborative problem solving while building lasting relationships
  • Precision in written and verbal communication
