About The Position

Responsibilities

• Support and lead efforts to maintain an injury-free environment through role modeling safe behavior and active involvement in safety activities.
• Complete the First Line Leader Onboarding/Proficiency Curriculum and IP Safety Leadership Certification.
• Coordinate and lead efforts to support high-performance work teams.
• Ensure team member relations and processes are in place to maximize engagement and results.
• Manage daily shift operations of the Paper Machine, OCC, Winder, and Warehouse areas with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and support to ensure a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
• Ensure proper staffing of the team to meet shift performance goals.
• Communicate with team members and mill leadership regarding safety, quality, cost, production, and personnel issues.
• Facilitate the shift's formal team member evaluation process during NHI.
• Develop and maintain reliable methods for all processes and their improvements.
