Holy Rosary Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled First Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive, engaging, and faith-based learning environment that supports both academic growth and spiritual development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required) and/or Teaching experience
• Valid Louisiana teaching certification preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to Catholic education and parish school community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across core subjects (Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Religion) with creativity and fidelity to curriculum standards.
• Promote Catholic values through daily prayer, integration of faith into lessons, and meaningful classroom routines.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student performance, communicate progress to families, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in faculty meetings, and engage in professional development.
• Support school liturgies, prayer services, and community-building events.
