About The Position

First Grade Teacher Lakeview Elementary 2026-2027 School Year The Solon Community School District is in search of a First Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are in search of highly qualified candidates who have a passion for working with students, value collaboration with colleagues, and a strong desire to learn and grow as an educator. Candidates should have a valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsements required for the position or the ability to acquire the appropriate licensure and endorsements. A candidate's application will include a letter of interest, resumé, official transcripts, and references to be considered for the position. The Solon CSD is located in the heart of the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor area. The district educates approximately 1500 PK-12 students with expected steady growth over the next several years.
