The 1st Assistant Manager's responsibilities also include ensuring the restaurant hires qualified crew who are well-trained. The First Assistant ensures all employees have proper documentation upon starting work. They are also responsible for keeping the existing crew up to date on training and motivated to perform at a high level. The First Assistant also generates a weekly schedule that supports the store's sales goals.
