Schedule: Full Time About Us - Operating Room Freeman Health System s main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery In this fast-paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge, and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting What You’ll Do Under The Direct Supervision Of The Surgeon, Performs Surgical Interventions Of Assigned Patients Within The Operating Room Suite. Ability To Perform Tasks As Assigned By The Surgeon Including But Not Limited To Suturing, Assisting At The Surgical Field, And Achieving Hemostasis. Ability To Perform Proficiently In The Scrub Technician Role, As Needed And Directed By The Charge Rn. Requirements •Current License/Certificate As First Assist. •Aha Bls For Healthcare Providers Within 180 Days.
