About The Position

The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field (First Year completed preferred)
  • Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products
  • Relevant Coursework including Python Programming, DC Circuits, and Analog Circuits
  • Basic understanding of engineering development tools such as SVN, compilers, and IDEs
  • Basic experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers preferred
  • Basic experience with version control, such as SVN or Git

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant Coursework including Embedded Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Firmware test plan development
  • Product testing, debugging, failure analysis
  • Develop and maintain self-improvement programs and automated scripts to optimize testing efforts
  • Collaborate with other team members to execute test plans and develop automation platforms
  • Create reports, memos, and provide status updates to engineers, supervisors, and project teams
  • Additional projects, tasks, and/or assignments as assigned
