Share your resume with us today! Primary Responsibilities Candidate will support the design, implementation, and integration of advanced radar technologies into new and existing sensor programs. Firmware development and system integration activities include, but are not limited to, high-speed data acquisition, data distribution, real-time signal processing, integration of COTS and custom technologies into prototype sensor systems, field testing of RF sensors and systems, and CONUS/OCONUS deployment of advanced sensor systems. Candidate will be assigned a variety of tasks related to the design and implementation of real-time prototype sensors. You will be exposed to a wide range of firmware and computer engineering technologies and will have the opportunity to learn from working directly alongside experienced engineers and have direct influence on multiple projects. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited school. Plus 4-8 years of relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Candidate must possess excellent teamwork skills and demonstrate good fundamental knowledge of one or more of the following: Embedded software experience (e.g. Zynq SoC, FreeRTOS, or Arduino) Some VHDL and/or FPGA experience Python experience An interest in signal processing Linux familiarity Ability to create design documentation, requirements specifications, and other technical documentation Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment Must be a US citizen possess an active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain Able to apply these skills to the areas of radar and electronic warfare system development, implementation of digital signal processing and tracking algorithms, and field testing of sensor systems. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama area. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited school. Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
