The Firmware Development Engineering Manager will assume all management tasks associated with the architecture, security, design, implementation, validation, debug and production release of a complex software and firmware package for Intel Radio SoCs. Features and functions include SoC configuration, run-time system control, real-time processing digital of RF signals/samples, digital signal processing algorithms, hardware accelerator control, calibrations, high speed data interfaces, boot/security flows, platform software, etc. Standard job functions include managing a team of firmware professionals including firmware development engineers, architects, and/or other managers responsible for software development across the lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, developing, debugging, validating, optimization, customer engagement, and product support. Providing architectural and technical guidance, ensuring that sound engineering practices are followed. Enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
