About The Position

The Firmware Architect will play a crucial role in developing next-generation firmware for innovative energy products and systems. This position focuses on designing and architecting embedded firmware solutions that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of energy management systems, smart meters, and grid automation devices. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of firmware for mission-critical applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience with real-time operating systems such as Embedded Linux, uCos, FreeRTOS, and ThreadX.
• Familiarity with MCUs including LCES and platforms from TI and STMicroelectronics.
• Ability to understand schematics and debug hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Strong skills in C, C++, Java, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of embedded firmware solutions for energy products.
• Develop high-performance, energy-efficient, and secure firmware for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects to define system requirements.
• Optimize firmware for reliability, scalability, and sustainability in energy applications.
• Enhance product security, fault tolerance, forensics, and self-testing capabilities.
• Reinforce the resilience and cybersecurity of firmware solutions.
