About The Position
As a Firewall Administrator at Fidelity Information Services, you will be an integral part of our Remote Infrastructure Management Team, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems. This role requires a proactive approach to network security engineering, where you will review, analyze, develop, install, modify, maintain, and support major subsystem software components across multiple production data centers. Your expertise will be crucial in normalizing various firewall behavior models and monitoring systems and application availability to troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will work extensively with BlueCoat Proxy, demonstrating strong technical knowledge in policy normalization, configuration, and troubleshooting. Your responsibilities will also include the configuration and management of firewalls, providing comprehensive security analysis and recommendations, conducting security awareness training, and performing security audits and remediation. You will evaluate security compliance and manage risk effectively, ensuring that our network remains secure against potential threats. In this role, you will leverage your strong technical knowledge of various firewall technologies, including Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, and CheckPoint Firewalls. You will also be involved in upgrades and migration of firewall devices, collaborating closely with the onshore Firewall Engineering team to address incidents and other tasks as needed.
