About The Position

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Firewall Administrator/Team Lead for an exciting opportunity. Job Description and Responsibilities The Team Lead provides overall supervision of vendor personnel, including planning and managing project activities to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of results. This role is responsible for ensuring work is properly scheduled, reports are accurate and submitted on time, and operational performance meets established standards. The Team Lead has the authority to resolve issues, allocate resources, and manage staff while taking direction from government stakeholders to ensure full satisfaction. Working under general supervision, the Team Lead oversees the development of product requirements from inception through completion, prepares specifications for simple to moderately complex tasks, and collaborates closely with the Vendor Project Manager (PM), Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs), and government user representatives to deliver accurate technical solutions and maintain high levels of user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Check Point firewalls (including R81 and R82) and industry-standard network environments, including firewall and security hardware/software.
  • Strong understanding of Information Assurance (IA) best practices and security principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations, including performance, troubleshooting, and network architecture.
  • Experience using incident ticket tracking systems to log incidents, manage requests, and generate work orders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies, along with hands-on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as firewalls, proxy servers, cloud services, and other network appliances.
  • Seven (7) years experience
  • IAT II or higher certification
  • Environment Certifications, must possess at least one from each of the following bullets: CCSE, CCSM, or CCSA; AWS CSA Associate, AWS CS Specialty, MC: Azure SEA, MC: Azure SAE, MC Azure Admin Associate, OCI Cloud Ops Pro 2024, or CCCS
  • Top Secret clearance
