About The Position

The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified applicants to perform specialized firefighting and rescue duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable physical danger on regular 24-hour shifts. The role also includes assisting in the maintenance of fire equipment, apparatus, and quarters.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• At least 18 years old at time of appointment
• Valid driver's license at time of application
• IFSAC Firefighter I and II certification
• Haz-Mat Operations level certification
• Kansas EMT-B or Paramedic certification at time of appointment
• CPAT certification
• FSEE score must be attached to the application
