Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years' experience controlling or extinguishing fires as a member of an organized military, industrial, volunteer, or governmental fire department or brigade. Trained IAW TO 00-105-E-9 for aircraft shutdown and exterior fires/not including interior fires or egress for aircraft and NFPA Code 1003. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Demonstrated ability to regularly lift and move a minimum of 100 pounds. Demonstrated fluent ability to speak, read, and comprehend English. Demonstrated dexterity in using and manipulating firefighter tools and equipment. Demonstrated ability to use basic Microsoft computer programs. Demonstrating vision abilities as required by the job, including discerning colors, contrast, and depth. Successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries background investigation. Successfully pass and continue to pass the NFPA 1582 pre-employment and annual physical and drug tests.
