This role involves working as part of an ALS non-transport EMS provider, which contracts ambulance transports with the City of Kansas City and American Medical Response.   • Perform search and rescue operations.
  • Extinguish fires using an ultra high pressure pump.
  • Respond to calls for service from a rescue pumper.
  • Handle specialty calls such as rope, water & ice rescue, Hazmat, and vehicle extrication.
  • Conduct building inspections and truck checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fire station.
  • Participate in public relations events such as National Night Out and station tours.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.

  • Clean criminal record and driving history.
