About The Position

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • One year of firefighting experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada commercial driver's license with required endorsements.
  • Must pass a background investigation prior to employment.
  • Must obtain additional certifications as required by the agency.
  • Must pass a medical examination and physical agility test.

Responsibilities

  • Educate the public on fire safety and prevention.
