About The Position

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support for firearms and hunting merchandise. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions, and ensuring compliance with regulations related to firearm sales. The Sales Outfitter will maintain the sales area, manage inventory, and promote various store programs to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in retail.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Product knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations.
• Customer service and sales experience in firearms and ammunition.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with merchandising and stocking merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Counter Sales and Customer Service for Firearms and other Hunting Merchandise.
• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Identify and evaluate customers' needs to assist in making buying decisions.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs analysis.
• Promote store programs including CLUB membership and In Store Pick up.
• Ensure 4473 Forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store for sales at the Gun Counter.
• Replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Stay knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
