About The Position
This position is in the Firearms Eligibility Bureau, reporting to the Firearms Purchase Program. This position is responsible for the review and advanced analysis of criminal history records to determine eligibility for the purchase and possession of firearms as authorized by Florida Statute. Incumbent will also be responsible for training internal and external customers, critical review of transactions for discrepancies, and quality control of transaction evaluations. Incumbent will assist with the monitoring of operational activities to ensure compliance with agency policies/procedures, program requirements, state and federal laws, and operational goals.
