As a mitigation technician, you will work mainly at client job sites to aid in mitigating personal or commercial property loss and/or damage from: Water Fire Mold Weather Biohazard As a mitigation technician, your job duties include but are not limited to:
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorized to Work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Responsibilities
- Water extraction
- Cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing
- Placing and operating loss mitigation equipment such as blowers, fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and heaters
- Rolling up carpet
- Cutting and removing drywall
- Repairs and minor construction
- Board-up and tarping
- Cleaning up and throwing out damaged debris and materials
- Smoke and soot removal
- Mold containment and/or removal
- Cleaning contents and personal property
- Use and application of appropriate professional cleaning products
