About The Position

The Fire Watch Attendant is responsible for ensuring safety during maintenance shutdowns at a large production facility. This role involves monitoring for potential safety hazards, alerting personnel in emergencies, and maintaining detailed records of job site activities. Training will be provided, and no previous experience is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Good communication skills.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• Watch for potential safety hazards in the workplace while maintenance crews are on site.
• Maintain the conditions and requirements stated during safety training.
• Quickly and clearly alert site supervisor and first responders in the event of an emergency.
