About The Position

Fire Technician Location: Rockville, MD Compensation Hourly pay (based on experience) Potential quarterly bonuses Time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked between 6 pm and 5 am Paid 4-hour minimum at time-and-a-half for emergency calls Paid 4-hour minimum at double time for emergency calls on recognized holidays, in addition to 8 hours of holiday pay About Us AHU Technologies INC. is an IT consulting and permanent staffing firm that meets and exceeds the evolving IT service needs of leading corporations within the United States. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points.
• Minimum 3 years licensed driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Strong customer communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent attendance and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of NFPA codes, manufacturer guidelines, and local fire codes.
• Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting.
• Identify and document NFPA code and non-conformance issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
• Conduct fire marshal tests and inspections.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
