Requirements
- Some hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial)
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive, can-do attitude
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined or challenging spaces, and wear PPE (including respirators) when required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Tech-savvy and able to learn or use mobile devices and job-tracking software
Nice To Haves
- IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal
- Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged personal belongings and commercial contents
- Operate a variety of restoration tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and care
- Accurately document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software (e.g., Contents Track, iCAT, Restore 365)
- Work directly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
- Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and professional worksite, and keep company vehicles and equipment ready and organized
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed
