About The Position

Bayside Fire is aggressively seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Representative at a competitive/generous rate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous sales and project management experience with the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Minimum of 2 years in sprinkler design or 5 years of installation of commercial fire suppression systems in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Previous experience in commercial construction, including experience with commercial general contractors.
  • Call on new clients and expand current customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-design of new fire suppression systems and produce accurate estimates.
  • Write/Send proposals in a timely manner and provide post bid status to management monthly.
  • Sell/Close new fire suppression sales contracts to include review of contract scopes, price, exclusions, etc.
  • Maintain a minimum $3,000,000.00/year sales quota.
  • Increase market share in the DC/Baltimore Metro region.
  • Keep management fully informed in a timely fashion with regard to areas of concern on a project.
  • Actively participate in change order, subcontractor, scheduling, and/or progress meetings.
  • Prepare and issue change proposals for ongoing projects when needed.
  • Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules as required.
  • Maintain good relationships with the owner, architect, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and company personnel involved with projects.
  • Submit any required information to clients as directed.
  • Be aware of all aspects of the scopes of work so proper assistance to the Project Manager can be provided.
