About The Position

NELBUD is seeking a Fire Suppression Route Service Technician to join our growing team. We are modernizing the ways of Fire Protection, Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Grease Trap Services, and more. This position involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights. You will be responsible for educating customers and selling products needed for code compliance while providing exceptional customer service and proudly representing NELBUD.

Requirements

• Ability to answer promptly to service calls
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppression is strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided from shop to job site
• You must be at least 20 years old
• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required

Responsibilities

• Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport as needed
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting
• Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD
