About The Position

LifeSafety Management is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role involves working on the installation, modification, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and applicable codes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of fire protection systems and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler service
• Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of NFPA Standards and codes
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings related to fire protection systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, local building codes, and company policies.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of various types of sprinkler systems.
• Operate hand and power tools commonly used in the fire protection, including pipe cutters, threading machines, and wrenches.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in fire protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper care and upkeep of company vehicle and tools.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
