The Fire Sprinkler Service Apprentice to assist experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians with the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This entry-level role is designed for individuals interested in building a career in the fire protection industry through hands-on training, classroom training and mentorship. WHY YOU’LL DO The Fire Sprinkler Service Apprentice to assist experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians with the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This entry-level role is designed for individuals interested in building a career in the fire protection industry through hands-on training, classroom training and mentorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and at heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces and varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, testing, and servicing of fire sprinkler systems
• Help replace sprinkler heads, valves, gauges, and fittings
• Support troubleshooting of system deficiencies under supervision
• Learn to read inspection reports, basic drawings, and service documentation
• Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, grooving, and hanging
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
• Accurately complete service paperwork and inspection reports as trained
• Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and company safety procedures
• Provide professional customer service while on site
