Requirements

  • 5+ years of FP, PM experience, or equivalent experience in related industries.
  • Sound and practical understanding of construction and project management.
  • Working knowledge of planning, with the ability to schedule and monitor tasks.
  • NICET II certification or higher preferred.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Strong budget and cost control management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and/or independently.
  • Experience in conflict/dispute resolution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating & scheduling software.
  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to obtain required clearances for jobs, including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist proposal activities and attend pre-bid meetings.
  • Select subcontractors and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage materials purchases and project change orders.
  • Create man-loading charts and weekly progress reports.
  • Manage material and equipment promise dates for deliveries and completion dates.
  • Develop and maintain project schedule.
  • Maintain a set of report and working drawings, consulting with local building codes and AHJ’s.
  • Act as primary interface for owner/customers.
  • Conduct/Attend construction meetings and maintain safety program.
  • Manage scheduling and change order management.
  • Ensure project close-out documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate with field management to manage resources to meet construction schedules and budgets.
  • Attend weekly meetings with operations and finance to provide updates on percentage of completion and cost to complete.
