The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Fire Sprinkler construction Department. The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager will lead a team and will have experience overseeing Fire Sprinkler installation projects starting with the hand off from the sales team through completion in a very fast paced environment with an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 5 years of Industry experience.
  • Project Management/Construction Management experience.
  • Knowledge of job cost tracking and P&L .
  • Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows operating system.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience working with fire sprinkler systems is highly preferred.
  • NICET certification is a plus but required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design, project management, customer service, the deployment of materials and equipment for projects , and monitor financials for each project.
  • Responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction to the Fire Sprinkler construction department.
  • Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees and periodically review subordinate's performance.
  • Daily operations of construction installation projects to be managed and monitored.
  • Assist superintendents as needed to maintain loading schedules and labor forecasting.

  • Proficient in developing business strategies, implementing action plans to meet and/or exceed department goals and objectives.
  • Attend construction meetings and interface with end-users, architects, and general contractors.
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
