About The Position

Impact Fire Services is a full-service fire protection company established in 2009, providing installation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, and retrofit of fire safety systems. We are looking for a self-motivated, customer service-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our dynamic team in Pompano Beach, FL. This position involves establishing rapport and building positive relationships with our customers while ensuring that sprinkler systems are operating properly. Requirements

  • 1-3 years field experience in Fire Sprinkler and Backflow systems service.
  • Must possess a state Sprinkler License, NICET Certification and/or Backflow License.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service is highly preferred.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for water-based inspections, installations, and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foam systems.
  • Identify trouble areas and perform service in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.
  • Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.
  • Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components.
  • Perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves (once receiving license).
  • Perform inspection of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
