About The Position
State Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team in Memphis, TN. As a privately owned total protection company, we are committed to protecting life and property through our comprehensive range of services. The Fire Sprinkler Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems. This position involves performing visual inspections of various fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems. The inspector will be responsible for checking necessary components from the ground level, executing water flow testing, and ensuring that all systems are operating within acceptable parameters. In this role, you will be expected to trip, observe, and reset dry valves, read gauges, and record information while noting any deficiencies. You will also verify proper communication with monitoring stations and complete system tests to ensure that all fire sprinkler devices are functioning correctly. After inspections, you will finalize reports and discuss any deficiencies with customers, providing clear explanations of the issues and their resolutions. This position requires a strong understanding of fire safety systems and excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients.
