This full-time position in Fort Worth, TX, involves assisting in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping, valves, and accessories in compliance with current codes.
Requirements
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
- Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
- Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
- Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
- Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
