Responsible to supervise and provide hands on installation and maintenance on fire sprinkler systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. 50% of the time is spent out in the field supervising projects and 50% of time is spent in the office ordering parts/materials, handling billing, scheduling in addition to other administrative duties. This is a working supervisory position. Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized. Protect the Company’s assets.

Requirements

  • Prior experience scheduling projects/labor, overseeing projects, ordering parts/materials and handling billing
  • Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and codes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in NFPA standards.
  • 10 years in the industry with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
  • NICET I or II certifications preferred.
  • Applicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity
  • An ability to provide services across multiple product lines skills is highly preferred.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, coordinating, and managing all field activities related to fire sprinkler system installation.
  • Overseeing and leading fire sprinkler installation crews, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with relevant fire codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring the quality of work to minimize defects and ensure the system meets project specifications.
  • Collaborating with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that arise during installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any necessary documentation for project closeout.
