About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to oversee fire protection system projects from concept and layout through installation, inspection, and project closeout. This position blends advanced fire sprinkler system design with full-cycle project management to ensure compliant, efficient, and timely delivery.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in NFPA-regulated systems, hands-on hydraulic calculation experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple active fire protection projects in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in fire sprinkler system design and project management
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection regulations
• Proficiency in fire sprinkler design platforms such as AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar software
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and strict deadlines
• Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication skills with clients, contractors, and inspectors

Responsibilities

• Develop and design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
• Produce detailed shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material lists, and technical submittals
• Manage projects from design initiation through installation completion and final approval
• Coordinate closely with installation crews, inspectors, general contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain project schedules, track revisions, and manage documentation throughout the lifecycle
• Review layouts for constructability, compliance, and cost-efficiency
• Provide technical support to field teams during installation and inspections
• Ensure projects remain aligned with safety standards and regulatory requirements
