Fire Sprinkler Construction Helper
About The Position
We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Construction Helper who will Assist the Foreman and Superintendent including, but not limited to, the installation or renovation of water based fire sprinkler systems. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and dependable. This position may be responsible for site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site. The helper receives guidance and direction regarding day-to-day work tasks from a Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Foreman. The Fire Sprinkler Helper must be reliable, able to follow verbal work instructions/directions, able to follow through on assigned tasks and exhibit the initiative to learn the skills of the trade. Ability to work in a variety of environments, such as temperatures over 100 degrees, cold temperatures, confined spaces, etc. Participate in training classes to grow professionally and increase one’s knowledge of the industry.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- No experience required.
- Basic knowledge of fire pumps, wet systems, Pre-action systems, and dry systems (within 36 months from date of hire).
