About The Position

SERVPRO of Northeast Dallas is seeking a Fire Restoration Technician who performs restoration processes to fulfill the service of structure and contents cleaning, restoration, inventory, disposal as needed on each restoration project. The Fire Restoration Technician maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the restoration technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
Strong work ethic.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice To Haves

IICRC certifications preferred.
Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
Move/pack/inventory/dispose of contents as per company guidelines.
Perform structure restoration processes and clean surfaces as directed.
Perform content restoration processes as directed and restore contents as per specifications.
Provide a detailed inventory and accounting of contents processed by SERVPRO.
Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
Communicate with supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
Maintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned.
Develop restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
