About The Position
This assignment is for the time that the employee is engaged in basic training at the Fire-Rescue Academy. It is a limited assignment designed to provide the training necessary to become a Fire and Rescue Officer. The position involves attending formal courses to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in fire suppression and emergency medicine, including but not limited to Rules and Regulations, Communications, Fire Cause, Pump-Driver operator, and methods and techniques of fire control and rescue operations. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.
