With general supervision from Testing and Inspecting (T&I) Manager or designee, the FM T&I Worker provides testing and inspecting services for fire protection systems. Campus systems include fire alarm, sprinkler and extinguishment equipment. The employee accomplishes this task through the coordination of services with their manager. This position is responsible for effectively maintaining key management and performing whole building fire extinguisher swap outs, including assisting with maintaining inventory to track those swap outs. The role is subject to shift changes and extended working hours (including nights, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays) to meet business needs. This is a benefits eligible, union position within the Teamsters Local 317, with a starting pay rate of $22.47/hour.
