About The Position
The Fire Protection Specialist (FPS) serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for fire protection at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This role involves developing and maintaining a fire protection program, conducting fire risk analyses, ensuring compliance with safety codes, and providing consultation services for facility projects. The FPS must maintain physical fitness and full duty status to perform essential functions related to fire safety and compliance.
