About The Position

We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our fire protection inspection, service, and installation business throughout King of Prussia and the surrounding region. This role focuses on developing new inspection and service contracts for fire protection services by building relationships with commercial property owners, property management companies, and facility managers. The position will also identify and develop new construction and tenant fit-out opportunities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler installations. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys networking, prospecting, and becoming a trusted life-safety partner for local businesses.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (Fire protection industry preferred)
  • Experience selling service contracts, construction services, or B2B services (AIA knowledge preferred)
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prospect and generate new business
  • Basic understanding of commercial buildings or construction
  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Fire protection industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new clients including commercial building owners, facility managers, and property management companies
  • Build long-term relationships that generate recurring inspection and service contracts
  • Identify opportunities for fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, and kitchen suppression inspections
  • Identify new construction and tenant improvement projects
  • Work with and develop relationships with general contractors, developers, and building owners to secure fire alarm and sprinkler installation projects
  • Track local development and bid opportunities
  • Serve as a resource for customers regarding fire code compliance and life safety requirements
  • Conduct site visits and assess customer fire protection needs
  • Coordinate with internal inspection, service, and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for service agreements and installation projects
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting
