About The Position

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Inspections Manager for Firetrol’s district office in Corpus Christi, Texas. Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in the fire protection industry
  • Must possess at least one license pertaining to the fire protection industry
  • Ability to analyze inspection reports and deficiencies
  • Knowledge of local and national fire code requirements.
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Outstanding professional communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – for interacting with customers and employees alike
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work a full time schedule
  • Available for local/regional travel occasionally, which may include nights and weekends to accommodate customer's schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and ServiceTrade software preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple business software platforms

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the inspectors
  • Check inspection reports for accuracy
  • Handle high volume of phone calls and emails
  • Order tools and materials for the inspections team as needed
  • Handle customer communications
  • Provide training as needed to inspectors
  • Tech Training and development
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled on a timely matter
  • Monitor productivity and improve productivity as needed
  • Assess manpower needs to support delivery of contractual obligations
  • Work with inspection coordinator to ensure inspections are being scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Other responsibilities as required to support the business
