About The Position

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will join the Engineering Design Organization at GHD, working alongside Senior Mechanical Engineers on various projects related to HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities. This role offers an opportunity to engage in technical challenges while contributing to the design and implementation of building mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong design interest in heat transfer and thermodynamics
• Completion of relevant coursework in 2D or 3D mechanical drafting software

Nice To Haves

• Ability to travel and work in the field as needed

Responsibilities

• Performing HVAC and plumbing load calculations
• Developing specifications for HVAC and plumbing equipment
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on incorporating the building mechanical design
