Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding an Account Executive, who will be focused on service sales, to our growing Fire Protection division in Washington. In this role, you will acquires new customers and nurture relationships with existing customer base. You will also assemble accurate budgets and proposals with a clear scope of work based around the customers' specifications and schedule. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

Requirements

  • Experience with Fire Protection systems required.
  • Two (2) years of experience leading and closing sales preferred; experience within the fire sprinkler industry required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and
  • estimates required.
  • Knowledge of all applicable codes and standards required.
  • Understands and able to correctly interpret RFP packages including all associated drawings, specifications required.
  • Able to identify and effectively communicate any risks associated with project type, customer/GC, construction type, schedule and market trends required
  • Skilled in negotiation, active listening, rapport building, and conflict resolution
  • required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of conceptual estimating preferred.
