About The Position
The Fire Marshal provides motivational leadership, coordination, and direction to the Risk Reduction Division. The Fire Marshal implements the strategic initiatives of the division through a comprehensive risk reduction program that identifies organizational, operational, and staffing objectives aligned with the Districts budgetary resources. The Fire Marshal evaluates Risk Reduction operations and strategies to ensure operational excellence, and to keep pace with industry standards and practices within the confines of available resources. The Fire Marshal will assume appropriate roles within the incident command system as qualified and assigned.
