About The Position

WATCH GUARD, LLC is one of the fastest-growing security providers in the NY area. We are currently seeking a dedicated, highly organized, professional, and personable FLSD with excellent communication skills and experience in security, customer service, and hospitality to work with one of our high-end client hotels in Brooklyn. This position is part-time, with a schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm, offering a pay rate of $28.00 an hour. IMMEDIATE HIRE is available.

Requirements

• Current New York State Security Guard License.
• Current Fire Safety Director Certification (F-89/T-89).
• Must have excellent concierge, verbal, and written communication & computer skills.
• Must be able to pass drug test, stand for long periods and have prior high-end hotel experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately monitor the fire command station.
• Respond appropriately to fire command station signals & alarms.
• Responsibly control access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Courteously assist visitors with a legitimate need to gain entry to the facility.
• Carefully prepare logs or reports as required for site.
• Observe and immediately report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Other relevant duties may be assigned as they arise.
