About The Position

The Fire Inspector/Investigator works within the Fire Marshal's Division at Nashua Fire Rescue. The position reports directly to the Fire Marshal and works as directed, to achieve the goals and execute the policies established by the Board of Fire Commission through the effective utilization of department resources. Duties to include ensuring the enforcement of State Fire Codes, City Ordinances pertaining to Fire Codes and the investigation of fire origin and cause within their assigned area of the City. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing and controlling division resources in a manner consistent with the mission of Nashua Fire Rescue. This position will assume all duties and responsibilities of the Fire Marshal in their absence. The salary for this position is $97,907.

Requirements

• State of NH or ProBoard Fire Inspector 1 certification
• Fire Investigator Certification from an approved agency

Responsibilities
